FASD Center for Innovation

Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) are life-long developmental disabilities associated with prenatal alcohol exposure. People with FASD often experience trauma and other factors that contribute to developmental complexity. FASD affects about 1-5% of the population. Yet, 80-90% of people with FASD go undiagnosed and are underserved by every system of care.

The goal of the FASD Center for Innovation is to increase equitable access to FASD-informed care. The FASD Center for Innovation integrates world-class research, direct service provision, dissemination and implementation across systems of care, workforce pipeline development, policy, and stigma reduction.
